If there is any doubt that the study was not conducted within an appropriate ethical framework, the editors may reject the article and/or contact the ethics committee of the author(s). In rare cases, if the editor has serious concerns about the ethics of a study, the article may be rejected on ethical grounds, even if it has been approved by an ethics committee.
Articles conducting any animal or clinical study must include a statement in accordance with the animal and human ethics committee.Research should be conducted in such a way that animals are not unduly affected.
Registration is required for all clinical trials.
